The A.O.C. "Vin de Savoie cru Marin" is grown on the shores of Lake Geneva in the communes of Marin and Publier. The vineyard was halved between 1872 and 1972, but now seems to have stabilized. Made exclusively from Chasselas grapes, this wine is bright, dry, pearly and light, with lemon and pineapple aromas. It is generally drunk young, but some growers produce a wine that can age if given the chance.
