From 01/06 to 31/10. Subject to favorable weather.
Nestled in the complex Roc de Tavaneuse massif, this 250 m-high rock face, with its surprisingly grippy rock grain, stands in stark contrast to the surrounding peaks, where vegetation reigns supreme. It's true that the steep grass is very present on the face, but it never alters the impression of verticality. The face is well exposed to the sun and generally dries quickly after rain.
Access: from Abondance, take the Prétairié road. From there, climb to the Serranants mountain pasture, then follow the valley towards the Pas de Savolaire. The cliff is on the right.
Helmets are recommended.
