A hike characteristic of the landscapes and activities of the mid-mountain region, between lakes and summits, forests and pastures. It will take you from alpine chalets to forests, from exceptional viewpoints to the stream running down the mountain.

The itinerary follows the GR5 towards Sur les Trables through a small forest which leads to the Trélemont pasture. There is a beautiful view of Lake Geneva and the Pays de Gavot. The GR5 will lead you to the Petit Chesnay mountain (1336 m) from where you can admire Lake Geneva, Switzerland, the village of Bernex and the Dent D'Oche.

You will then reach the Grand Chesnay situated at 1445 m and will pass near the Mont Baron.

You will then descend through the mountain chalets "les Boeufs" and "Le Replain", via a footpath.

You can discover the small hamlets of Chevenoz on your way back to the starting point.

This hike, which can be done from May to the first snowfall, offers you a splendid and changing nature with the seasons.
